canning/jars cassoulet & soups too!
i love cassoulet, but it is time consuming so i wanted to can some. i've tried freezing but beans don't usually hold too well when frozen. Also would like to can/jar soups and such.
i've only just started canning, simple pickling and jams. can i use a hot water method, do i need a pressure cooker? i'm scared of it going bad or getting some botulism or something.
any advice. any recommended sites.
