Any more uses for electric griddles?
I have a new question...has anyone ever used their electric griddle for lightly breaded foods? I like to make my own chicken tenders with just breadcrumbs, corn meal and light seasoning, but I usually cook them in a frying pan with lots of oil. I wonder if the griddle would work, just using enough oil to brown the tenders, and with the chicken sliced thinnish so it cooks fast. Or using the same recipe for for fish...has anyone tried either of these techniques?
