How many pounds of roasted bell peppers from one pound of fresh?

Got a recipe for roasted red pepper soup, and figure I might as well use the jar I've got in the fridge. Problem is that the recipe calls for me to roast one pound of fresh bell peppers. It's not a one to one weight conversion, is it?
