I recently read an article on The New Scientist that briefly discussed the possibility of a raise in daily recommended fruit and vegetable consumption. Instead of the usual 5-a-day mantra we're all so used to; they're now recommending 8 portions of fruit and vegetables per day to fully reap their benefits.
Do you think this is asking too much of the average Joe? Do you think 8 portions of fruit and vegetables per day is a reasonable amount for an omnivore like most of us?
