Bacon Fat
I'm about to make a bunch of bacon for a party. I was thinking of saving the fat for other uses. My grandmother always kept a jar of fat right on her stove that she added to at breakfast and scooped from to season green beans and other dishes at dinner time. So how long will bacon fat stay good? Seems like it would go rancid at some point. Should I refrigerate it? I feel like the Pioneer Woman herself.
