What Should I Do with These Ham Drippings?
I had a lovely Christmas dinner, very simple with a beautifully glazed spiral ham with mustard-mayo dressing, whipped turnips, and rolls, with plenty of sweets for dessert.
I didn't have the heart to discard the 1/4 cup of salty, concentrated, slightly glaze-y ham drippings that were left over, but now I'm slightly at a loss for what to do with them. They've been in the refrigerator overnight, and they don't seem to be overly fatty. I'm thinking I can use them with collard greens, but I'm wondering what everyone else might suggest.
