Terrific Retro Chinese take-out cookbook?

My sister & I have accumulated a wealth of wonderful authentic Chinese cookbooks & recipes over the last few years. Fuchsia Dunlop, Kylie Kwong, Kenneth Lo & even Madhur Jaffrey's companion book to her BBC series. However my sister is waxing nostalgic for a retro type recipe book so she can recreate the food we enjoyed in Chinatown after late-nite revels: chop suey, chow mein, shrimp toast, certain dim sum.

I was told that Yan-kit So's books were the best, but since they're out of print, I can't find a quality one for under $200. to gift my sister with this year.

Are there any you would recommend, reliable, less than $200 & not published by soup companies? Thanks.
