UNUSUAL PIZZA

MY MOTHER USED TO MAKE A DOUBLE CRUSTED PIZZA WITH A FILLING OF ONIONS, BLACK OLIVES, ANCHOVIES, BACCALA, FIGS AND RAISINS. HAS ANYONE HEARD OF THIS PIZZA? SHE CAME FROM THE PROVINCE OF BARI IN ITALY.

I WONDERED IF LYDIA HAS COME ACROSS THIS RECIPE. I MADE IT RECENTLY, BUT THE DOUGH WASN'T AS GOOD AS MY MOTHER'S.

I'M CURIOUS IF OTHERS HAVE HAD THIS UNUSUAL CONCOCTION. MY KIDS WON'T EAT IT BUT I LOVE IT.
