We like an Indian restaurant that serves the most delicious, warm cardamom cookies after every meal. They have the consistency of pecan sandies or shortbread. I've searched the net for the actual recipe and I guess the chef/owner has decided not to release the recipe. Does anyone have a recipe that sounds similar? I wonder what she uses in place of butter since she serves no beef products in her restaurant.
