I know a lot of people have a love-hate affair with eggnog, and I for one will admit that the lesser versions can be awful.

But whenever it gets cold outside, I get a craving for the stuff.

Unfortunately, I don't know who serves the top version in NYC.

Any recommendations? I'm not looking for store-bought eggnog; rather, I'm hoping to find restaurants, bars, or cafes that serve superior versions of this drink.

I've heard that Maialino may serve eggnog (going to check it out soon), and I know that Pete's Tavern, also in Gramercy Park, serves it as well. I haven't had Pete's eggnog in years, though, so I have no idea how it is nowadays.
