I am making the following recipe tonight, but instead of grits I would rather use quinoa. Anyone know how much quinoa would be the right amount for the recipe?
2/3 cup instant grits
1/2 cup puree pumpkin
1 tbsp fresh sage
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Bring water to boil, add grits (quinoa), stir until combined
Stir in pumpkin, sage and salt, return to boiling
Reduce heat and cook uncovered until thickened.
Remove from heat, stir in cheese.
