Serious Eats: Talk
West Virginia restaurants?
Hey! I've recently moved to West Virginia from Houston, Texas, and the most trying form of culture shock I've experienced thus far is the food. I'm used to a wide and varied selection of restaurants and cuisines, and I am now faced with a culture that considers Applebee's and other similar chains as the forefront of food.
I'm in the Shepherdstown, Martinsburg area, but I'm willing to drive (and have driven) as far as Frederick for some interesting food, so if anyone has any suggestions, I'd be much obliged.
