Whole Wheat No-Knead Bread

Has anyone made a whole wheat version of no knead bread?
I used the recipe Bittman recommends in the Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/08/dining/082mrex.html) using Trader Joes White Whole Wheat Flour and the result was way to dense - any suggestions?
