Curbside Cookout

Washington DC is having their first CURBSIDE COOKOUT!!!
Yesterday, October 7th was the first day, today October 8th is the 2nd and last day. From all accounts this has been an overwhelming sucess. A variety of food is available from the very popular lobster rolls to cupcakes and korean bbq. If you are from LA think "First Friday"

Part of the reason for this "cookout" is to get people out to sample food from the trucks and show our local city coucil that Food trucks are an inexpensive and diverse food experience that should be supported. It's been said that city council may move to try and ban them by years' end.

So if you live in the DMV, come out and support our foodtruck culture. There's more to life than a half smoke.
