We had a major day in Manhattan last Sunday and towards the early evening we found ourselves in Murray Hill...where to end the day with a good meal? We decided to walk over to Terrance Brennan's Artisanal Bistro on 32nd. It had been a while since our last visit.
I went for the 3-course prix fixe dinner: caramelized pumpkin gnocchi to start with fall vegetables, followed by their chicken under a brick, and for dessert Artisanal's cheesecake, of course. The flavors were lovely! My companion enjoyed her steak au poivre with frites. A big portion and quite satisfying too.
With all the food and dining frenzy out there, we often tend to forget all too quickly those that preceded it all...
