I know it's an old wive's tale, but I _____ anyway.

For me, it's corn on the cob. When my mother cooked it, she'd put some of the husks in with the corn. She said it made the corn sweeter. I don't actually believe that, but I put corn husks on top of the corn because it makes sort of a lid over the corn so the ones on top that might be sticking out of the water a bit will get steamed, and I don't have to put an actual lid on the pot.

So, confess. You know it's an old wive's tale, but you still do it...
