Last question about water..Do you drink from the tap or bottled?
I know that people have their own wells. I know we did. we also had a cistern that collected rain water for use in the garden. As a kid, I could not even imagine the idea of paying for water. The only time I did was when the annual carnival came to town in the 40 acre field directly in front of our house. I use to trade with the Carneys gallon jugs of ice-water for free rides. I got a lot of free rides in just this manner. All the trading I did was when they were setting-up.
I remember visiting cousins that had city-water in Detroit and found the taste to be horrid, you could taste the chlorine in it.
Today, I use city water and a filter. I still do not buy bottled water here in the USA unless I absolutely have to. Which is rare.
When out dining I ask for a glass of ice-water with lemon. occasionally I choose unsweet ice-tea. which they make from their tap-water anyway.
How about you?
Tap or Bottled?
If you buy bottled, is it spring-water, distilled, or purified by a method like reverse osmossis?
If it is tap, or a well, then do you have a good filtering system or do you just get it straight from the tap?.
Finally do some of you fill your own jugs or bottles from home when you are on the go?
