Is the New Amsterdam Market losing steam?

I hope not.This had become one of our favorite artisanal food markets so we were surprised when visiting this past Sunday. There appeared to be less vendors. Perhaps it was the weather, which was not bad for most of the morning and afternoon, or other competing events that are taking a toll. We did manage to pick up a good bleu cheese from a maker from Massachusettes, and blueberries from one of the produce booths.

What is actually happening here? Any Serious Eaters have thoughts on this?
