So I made a vegetable broth a few weeks ago, meant to mimic a chicken soup (for noodles and matzah balls). It was fantastic!
So I froze the leftovers, and I just defrosted it, cooked some noodles in it, and thought I had a nice easy dinner ready.
But now it tastes funny! It's sweet, which it wasn't at all before. None of the depth and saltiness seems to remain. Is it because I cooked the noodles in it? Or just morphed from being frozen? I'm so disappointed! I thought since it was a simple broth that it would freeze well... what might have happened?
