When will they learn?
See that Bar Artisanal closed after a short run. A few blocks up from there, Lusso, in soho closed after 8 or 9 months also. Chefs/owners never seem to learn. Some spots are doomed. In this case, it doesn't seem sensible to open a place west of Wooster or West Broadway. Or on some street that has limited foot traffic. Of course, some places thrive, but it wouldn't seem ideal.
