Cooking and Baking
If you were to write a cookbook it would be about?
For me it would be the recipes from the men who man the tugboats and barges that keep America afloat moving grains and oil from point A to B on a never-ending cycle. The recipes these men share are both time-worn and comforting. Todays mariners buy their Grub on crew-change day and work 6 hour shifts on 14 to 21 day hitches. Food is the fuel that keeps them going and when you have 5 guys to feed the recipes of necessity need to be good. Every major waterway has crews working them and I was thinking it might be nice to see how the differant regional recipes would taste. What would you write about?
