Ice fish help

We are fortunate to live near a grocery store that carries all sorts of interesting imports. I also have a daughter with daring tastes. We recently picked up a jar of ice fish, but have no idea how it's supposed to be eaten. Google searches have brought up nil.

The jar was kept in the refrigerator section and is a product of Italy. The ingredients include ice fish, olive oil, onion, parsley, etc. The fish themselves are tiny, white squiggly things with itty bitty black eyes. I'm not normally the sqeamish sort, but the idea of eating these gives me the willies. *L* My daughter has no such hang ups, but she would still like to know how they are supposed to be eaten.

If anyone can help, it'd be greatly appreciated!
