Eating Out

Dining in the Ironbound, Newark, NJ

I'm taking my husband out for his bday later this week and we're planning on going to the Ironbound section of Newark, which we haven't been to in about three years. I know there are a number of restaurants which are still there, but wanted to hear from those on Serious Eats which ones are worth it (and which ones to avoid).

I heard (via comments on other sites) that Casa Vasca and Seabra's Marisquiera are highly recommended. Previously, we've eaten at Fornos, Spanish Tavern, and a couple of other places whose names escape me.
