hey seriouseaters. in the chicagoland area, and my food knowledge is super outdated. wanted to take the parents out for crepes -- AND NOT LA CREPERIE -- does anyone have any recommendations? a nice, comfy, cozy type place would be ideal - anywhere in chicago proper OR in the western suburbs (i.e. oak park, oak brook etc).

as a side note, any other MUST try places? (NO meat heavy/hotdog places or chi-style pizza, either)

any help very appreciated -- i head out back to nyc on friday, so timely assistance would be a godsend!
