So my best half is in an Historian's Society, where the men get together once a quarter and discuss their mutual love of history, mainly American, and a formal period dinner is served. I'll be so out of here, but cooking men, your suggestions? The period is the first 10 amendments to the Constitution, circa 1791. Half is thinking of a Nigella Lawson one dish wonder involving chicken, sausage and sage, all roasted together. Yea, Nigella. Probably didn't even need to post this, but if you have alternatives? Dinner for 8. Men.
