Lichtman's Bakery (now defunct)

Any New Yorkers out there who remember Lichtman's Bakery on 86th Street and Amsterdam Avenue and their wonderful baked goods? Do any of you have any thoughts about their Cinnamon/Nut Babka and possibly a recipe that would be very, very similar - I've had poor wannabes over the years and am really interested in a clone - maybe I'm asking for miracles but maybe not.
