Bluefin Tuna and the Japanese...

We are being told the precious wild bluefin tuna is being overfished and though many countries are trying to create fishing limits to keep the fish from extinction the Japanese remain defiant. I realize that the bluefin is very popular there and brings in big bucks, but what about the ecological realities?
One piece in the New York Times mentioned a party given by the Japanese contingent to the U.N. at a meeting on endangered species held in Qatar. What did they have the chutzpah to serve: bluefin?
