heritage pork - has anyone had Large Black?

Funny name, I know, but I talked to my most favorite farmer today and he's going to raise Large Black heritage pork. It's an extremely rare breed, but in a year or so he'll hopefully have Large Black hogs. Has anyone had pork from this breed, and if so, what can you tell me about it? I would guess that due to the rarity of the breed and the pork-crazed town I live in that if I want any, it will have to be a half hog, but I have plenty of time to plan.
