I have tried many many white or vanilla cupcake recipes. They all come out well and I get many compliments. However, I have never managed to get the taste and consistency of the cupcakes that you buy at a cheap bakery, and for some reason I LOVE those things. Not the grocery store frosting - ick - but I love the white cake.
Anyone have a recipe like that??
