Weekend Cook and Tell: Tacotacular
Welcome to the Weekend Cook and Tell. Every Wednesday we search through the food sections of various national newspapers to create a weekend cooking project. We hope you'll cook along with us and share your experiences, recipes, and photos here.
It seems like you can't open a food section of the newspaper today without reading about all manner of delicious Mexican food. The San Francisco Chronicle is talking taco shells, the Houston Chronicle is crazy for quesadillas, and the Los Angeles Times is rounding up everything from margaritas to tamales.
In honor of Cinco de Mayo and really, just because who doesn't love tacos? This week's challenge is all about tacos Choose flour or corn tortillas, hard or soft shell tacos, and whichever combination of fillings and garnishes your heart desires. Just be sure to share all of your tasty taco creations with us.
