I'm in a bit of a quandry as my MIL passed away a few months ago and now, no one can find her recipe for an easy mac and cheese. None of us ever made it, it was just something she would serve when we had dinner at her home.
I do have my own recipe for mac and cheese, but it is more sophisticated and a lot more work. Plus my husband really wants this "comfort food." What I do know about her version is that you used uncooked elbow macaroni, shredded cheese (definitely cheddar and maybe another kind?) and poured milk, pretty sure whole or 2%, over the dish once assembled. Then it simply baked.
Can anyone help me with my problem?
