Pork Salivary Glands
So I was about to fry up what appeared to be a simple, tasty, chorizo sausage. Allow me to share what the fine-print ingredients are (presented in order with no omissions):
Pork salivary glands, lymph nodes and fat, paprika, soy flour, salt, vinegar, spices, red pepper, garlic, and sodium nitrate.
It looks like the only thing missing is "malignant tumors".
I actually took a picture, but don't know how to upload it here.
Apparently I was in the throes of an alcoholic blackout at the time of purchase, since I usually read labels.
So two things here: This is not all chorizo, is it? and it just goes to show you that you have to read Every.Single.Label.
