After many successful attempts at using SeriousEats to branch out my culinary prowess (including the shrimp and scallion pancakes and sous-vide lamb; both delicious!) I attempted the recently posted ravioli recipe.... and failed miserably!
The ravioli dough was so sticky that by the time I added enough flour to have any chance at rolling/folding it, it was like chewing leather! My boyfriend thought it was so funny he started making the dough into bouncy balls!
Can anyone help a Pole with no Italian grandmother to lean on? What went wrong? Any goof-proof dough recipes or tips?
