Economic dish you made great.
I'm having to stretch my food budget, (out of work since Feb.), and would love to know what anyone has done with basic meals or dishes that makes them extra special. So far I've cooked chili, stir fry, stew, chicken soup, and anything else that freezes and is fairly inexpensive to cook in large portions. Any new ideas are much appreciated.
Please, don't misunderstand my question. I know I'm fortunate to have food at all, when so many do not.
