Dosa problems
This past weekend, I bought a container of freshly ground dosa batter from our local Indian grocers. It's a thick batter and I guess that I'm supposed to thin it out with water before I cook up my dosa. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the knack for making these "crepes", I don't know if my batter is too thin or thick. I used a non-stick pan brushed with some melted ghee, but still I can't get the pancakes to come out right. I keep the heat on med to low. I've tried various consistency for the batter. The batter has been thick like pancake batter and as thin as light cream. What am I doing wrong? Any tips on successful dosa creation?
