Welcome to the Weekend Cook and Tell. Every Wednesday we page through the food sections of various national newspapers to create a weekend cooking project. We hope you'll cook along with us and share your experiences, recipes, and photos here.
This week our inspiration comes from an article in The Boston Globe entitled A Side of Surprise With That? in which travelers recount their tales of delicious meals in some of the most unlikely spots.
For this week's challenge we want to hear all about the most unlikely and delicious meals you've ever had. Whether it was a rest stop on the Italian Autostrada, an exemplary church basement dinner, or a gas station hot dog that really blew your mind, this is the week to share.
