My wife and I are travelling to Tokyo in a couple months and we're trying to plan out some places to eat. I would really appreciate any suggestions on restaurants - we're staying in Shinjuku but will be moving around the city a lot.

we're looking for places $100-300 max for 2 people and looking for everything from tiny dives to upscale places. we eat everything and are very parial to ramen and anything new and unusual.
