Raw Foods
Raw foods are big in the California, where I lived last year. I was on a totally raw diet, which its supposed to heal the body and give you Radiance! Vitality! Youth! Happiness! All this from uncooked vegetables, friuts, nuts, seeds. Actually, I did feel pretty good on this type of regimine, but come on, no egg rolls? No banana muffins? No grilled cheese? Plus, a raw salad does not hit the spot when its cold and raining or snowing here in the east. But now that I'm back to eating "regular" food, I feel haunted by the suspicion that I am not doing the best for my body. Maybe I should go back to raw. We have lots of good raw restaurants here in NYC, like Pure Food and Wine. Has anyone else tried this lifestyle? What do you think?
