Brownies

Quick question: Can you refrigerate brownie batter overnight? If so, would you bake them straight from the fridge or would they have to sit out?

I have to make 12 trays of brownies for Monday, but I have a jampacked weekend so I was trying to think of ways to do them ahead. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)
