Manhattan deli for a first timer
I am taking my 12 year old niece on her first trip to NYC. When asked what she might like to eat while we are there, she said that a deli sandwich sounded like a typical NY experience so that is definitely on her to do list. I have been to both Stage and Carnegie in the past, but am not there enough to have developed any expertise. I've read about Katz's, but also read mixed opinions on it as of late for both crowds and quality. She said she is most likely to get a turkey or ham sandwich if that helps or if you want to convince her to branch out. Any advice for her?
