Hi all,

We're going to visit friends of ours and their brand new 1-week old girl. I'm bringing a gift for the baby, of course, but feel like nobody ever thinks to bring a gift for the new mommy. At first I thought makeup or lotion or bath salts but who knows if she has time to do all that. Then I figured a food gift might be a good idea. With all the running around who knows if she has time to cook.

Problem is it has to be something or things I can grab from the market since I've got to be at work all day.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks! :)
