We are serious foodies....love great wine and are planning a trip through Tuscany starting with 4 days in Florence, two days in Greve, two days in San Gimignano, then Montelcino, Montepulciano, Orvietto and Rome. We are on honeymoon, in our 50s, and will splurge a few times, but mostly want to eat the local foods and drink great wine. One specific place I'd like to return to is a place in Florence that made amazing bistecca fiorntina and cooked their pasta in red wine. My recollection is that it was near the leather market, but it was 15 years ago.
