My mom is getting married, and she'd really like a cake with a lighthouse on it that is edible and tasty (not rice krispies, not gumpaste, etc). I was thinking of getting a small 'side' cake that has a lighthouse scene in chocolate on top of it. It seems like sculpting in chocolate would be easier, as would keeping it small rather than wedding cake size.
However, finding a chocolatier who can do that is proving difficult. :( Does anyone know anyone who could carve or piece together a lighthouse on a cliff out of chocolate? Barring that, anyone who seems to do crazy stuff with chocolate? I'm willing to look in NJ as well.. or even ship it. Any leads at all would help.
