Hello! I just received an invite for a festive potluck party. I noticed the host requested that guests please bring a both favorite dish AND drink to share. I'm not sure what to bring but with over 50 guests it will be a lot of food and vino etc, It turns me off a little that the host asked all guests bring both dish and drink. What do you think? Is it typical in potlucks to be asked to bring both? Any other potluck I've had or been to has drinks provided and explained a main course to build round etc.
