My friend and I decided to take a spontaneous trip to Chicago for Spring Break this year and we would love to hear some suggestions for must-eats (preferably on a college student's budget!) while we are in town. We will only be in Chicago for a weekend because we will be hopping on the California Zephyr for a two and a half day train ride to San Francisco on Monday afternoon (so excited!), so we definitely want to make the most of our time there.

We are both from California and this will be our first time in Chicago. Vegetarian-friendly places would be appreciated since I don't eat meat (but my friend does).

Also, what is the weather like in Chicago at the end of March?? We go to school in Southern California, so we're definitely spoiled. :)
