My next coffeemaker may be a single-cup model, but I know nothing about them. I haven't paid attention to coffeemaker designs since I last bought the current one, which is now probably 15 years old.

Enlighten me. What's good, bad, ugly, useful, thrifty...? Are there any that let me grind my own beans, or do they all use the single-use, self-contained, pre-filled thingamabobs? Are cup sizes adjustable?

Okay, that last sentence sounds weird, but you know what I mean, right?
