so it's like this. the old chef got fired, and left us with a case of rutabagas. we don't know what the hell to do with rutabagas. what kind of simple side dishes can you make with rutabagas?

(detailed explanation...the chef got fired, and the owners decided to give the kitchen to myself and two co-workers, all three of us culinary students. none of us really have any experience beyond line cooks, and though we have some good recipes, we're all kind of learning how to run a kitchen. at this point i don't want to throw away these rutabagas, because it seriously must be like $50 of rutabagas(or more)...but they're taking up a good amount of space in the cooler...any help would be appreciated)
