Possible Baking Fail - any advice?

I baked Nigella's Quadruple Chocolate Cake this morning to take into work tomorrow for a friends birthday. I double the recipe to fit a Bundt tin but managed to forget the step which requires boiling water to be added to the batter at the end (I though the batter was a little on the thick side as I spooned it into the tin - I'm such a fool). It's out of the tin and looks ok, but I'm scared that when it's sliced it'll be uncooked inside becuase it will be too dense?

Does anyone have any ideas on what I might find? I don't want to cut into it before giving it to the Birthday Boy, but I equally don't want a baking fail revealed to all.
