I have two big pots of basil growing in the kitchen to remind me that summer is around the corner.

I am most looking forward to a meal of basil, mozzarella, tomato salad, freshly picked that afternoon corn on the cob-silver queen, marinated steak on the grill and now that I own the ice cream maker (aka baby) some kind of fresh fruit sorbet. Also some kind of big biscuit with the meal...

All that and beer drinking outside. Since I live at a school I wait until all the students are gone...it is a downside to the best job ever but...that first beer when they are gone is a real winner!!!
