I received a nice granite mortar & pestal for Valentine's day this year (thanks honey) and I love it. I have one question - how do I clean it properly? To date I have just used soap and water and let air dry. No instructions were included in the packaging about proper care.

Plus any hints for getting the most out it would be greatly appreciated.
